OPERATION FINE ARTS

Operation Fine Arts is a series of outreach programs for students AND educators that focuses on Character Education through the creation of films, theatre & dance. Our programs are designed to empower students and teachers while incorporating the Florida Sunshine State Standards.

Operation Film Tykes: Kindergarten-3rd grade students will learn teamwork by writing a story, turning it into a script, performing and recording it in order to prepare for the big screen!

Operation Filmmaker: Students learn and implement the three phases of production to create a 10 minute documentary from beginning to end.

Operation Fine Arts – Theatre Style: Students learn character development and professionalism while producing a musical theatre presentation.

Operation Filmmaker takes on Civics: While learning the three phases of film production, the students will create documentaries based entirely on various civics topics all while enforcing the ideas of citizenship and leadership.

Operation Filmmaker Goes Science: Students learn to produce documentaries based on Science-related topics such as global warming, recycling, space exploration, or famous science biographies.

Operation Filmmaker for the History Fair: Can be completed one-on-one or as a group. Students are taught the basics of documentary filmmaking with hands-on opportunities to use state-of-the-art equipment to bring their project(s) to life with the goal of presenting their finished product(s) at regional, state, and/or national history fair competitions.(Special student pricing). Teachers: CHI offers “free” presentations to your students to excite them for participation in Florida History Fair!

Operation Filmmaker – Educator Style: Teachers participate in this one of a kind professional development experience where you will produce a DVD media tool in order to supplement your classroom curriculum. (In-service points available).
